It's the holidays again and Floozies is bringing back a few things on the menu...

Brunswick Stew is back for 4.50 a cup, 6.00 a bowl, and now 12.00 a quart.
Also, the Harvest Salad (apples, walnuts, c'raisins, onions, blue cheese on a bed of greens with balsamic vinaigrette) back on the menu.

We have our holiday hours also:

I hope everyone is well and enjoying this weather.

I have finally come up with Floozies list of pies (the pies we will have every week)

this week 3/29  extra pie lemon meringue

we also have developed our permanent lunch menu
chicken salad sandwiches,  egg salad sandwich,  pimento cheese sandwich,  bbq pork,  chicken pot pie,
turkey sandwich, blt, quiche, grilled cheese, grilled han & cheese on rye, soup. prices between 3.50 and 9   

we also serve ice cream    HOMESTEAD CREAMERY  flavors this month:  bananna, espresso chocolate chip, cherry vanilla, lemon crunch,   and breyers vanilla.   we will be offering pie shakes soon.

There seems to be some interest in take home dinners for 2.  I am thanking about a routine schedule of dishes that we can have ready for pick up.  if any of you have any suggestions, let me know

FULL MOON

If you hadn't noticed this is the week of the full moon and boy has it been gorgeous!
Being in the restaurant business you notice several things that happen during the full moon
1.  people are a little more difficult to deal with
2.  people  use their credit cards more
3.  alcohol consumption tends to peak along with desserts
are we trying to keep the inner werewolf at bay.   I think maybe
I thank that the best way to do this is to sit down and have a nice piece of pie and good cup of coffee
or a great chocolate chip cookie and a glass of ice cold milk.  Yeah, that would do the trick.
So the next time you see the full moon approaching head on dowm to Floozies.
